This competition winning design benefits from an economy of repetition, and proposed a reduced construction time through simplicity and efficiency in construction and detailing.

The proposal for a private rented development on an existing car park is conceived as a striking new addition to Maidenhead Town Centre, which responds to its prominent location adjacent to the existing 1970s tower. A modular construction of concrete shuttering would incorporate fire compartmentation, acoustic separation and M+E services into the structural system, whilst providing simple alignment of stacking of services.
